Who we are
Sahadharma is a free matrimony service run as community service for people who follow Sanatana Dharma. You can reach us at hello@sahadharma.org.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your name, email, city and country, and whether you are looking for yourself, helping an adult child, or keen to volunteer.
- Family Circle: a parent's or guardian's name and email, and a child's first name or initials, year of birth, sex, family tradition, languages at home, and city.
Family tradition is information about religious belief. We collect it only with your explicit consent and use it only for the purposes below.
How we use it
- To tell you when Sahadharma opens in your area, and about spiritual gatherings and children's values classes nearby.
- For Family Circle: when your child turns 18, to send you an invitation to pass on to them.
We never sell your information, never use it for advertising, and never share it with other members.
Children's information
Family Circle details are given by a parent or guardian, not by children. They are never shown, searched or matched, and no one can contact a child through Sahadharma. A matrimony profile is created only if the young adult, aged 18 or over, chooses to join and completes it themselves. If they do not join within two years of turning 18, we delete the record.
Where it is stored
Form sign-ups are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, Inc., which processes data on our behalf.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop emailing you, at any time by writing to hello@sahadharma.org. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
